Concept

Our projects are aimed at adults under the age of 50, who have a physical motor disability while having the ability to manage their personal, professional and social lives and who wish to live independently in an apartment.

We want to give these people the opportunity to enjoy an autonomous life and contribute to society by providing them with continuous physical support 24/7.

The term residential (home) collective and community services is the term that best describes ÉquiToît. In fact, we offer home support services to adults with motor impairments who are able to live independently with adequate support. These adults enjoy an adapted apartment, grouped with other apartments in the same building. The grouping within the same building allows the pooling of services.

Real estate component

  • ÉquiToît signs an agreement with a property owner who accepts to reserve apartments for ÉquiToît members.
  • The apartments are located in an accessible building comprising apartments for people with or without disabilities, singles and families.

  • The apartments are adapted to the specific needs of each tenant. Individuals are eligible for the home adaptation program or are able to afford the cost of the required adaptation.
  • Each apartment includes a full kitchen.
